Catalina 2022

The Catalina Island trip took place between February 24 and 27. SHC students met at school on Thursday night to board a charter bus and arrived in Long Beach on Friday morning. After a two-hour ferry ride, the students got to the island and prepared for their activities. The group was split into four different teams with whom they would participate in bonding exercises throughout the journey. This experiential learning trip is open annually to all SHC students but is highly encouraged for those taking marine biology and AP environmental science.
