Molly Cannon ’27, Sports Editor and SHCLive Liaison

After two years writing for the Emerald, Molly is incredibly excited to serve as the Sports Editor and an SHCLive Liaison for the 2025-2026 school year. Aside from the Emerald, she is also a part of TEDX, Irish For A Day, CSF, and Girls Golf. Outside of school she loves writing, reading, listening to music, spending time with friends, baking, and nurturing her never-ending curiosity!

Being one of my first "stress bakes" during the COVID pandemic, almond croissant blondies soon became a staple in our household. Immediately, my parents and brother knew I had a rough day from the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen. Not only did this alert my family that I was most likely going to be stressed, but it also helped ease my nerves. Baking using my own two hands allows me to release anxiety through something productive and delicious.
